Geographical Introduction of Bakshiganj Upazila:

Bakshiganj is known as the youngest upazila of Jamalpur district. The upazila is situated at a distance of 34 km from the district headquarters at the northern end of the country, surrounded by lush gardens and lush greenery. Its geographical identity: Meghalaya state in the north, Sreebardi upazila of Sherpur district in the east, Islampur upazila of Jamalpur district in the south, Dewanganj upazila of Jamalpur district in the west. 

Bakshiganj upazila has an area of ​​204.30 sq km or 6.44 sq miles. Bakshiganj upazila is located at 25.008 degrees to 25.18 degrees north latitude and 89.48 degrees to 69.58 degrees east longitude. The climate here is temperate, humid, temperate and conducive to healthy agriculture.

 

 Bakshiganj consists of 06 unions, 03 thanas, 16 mouzas and 305 villages.
